Danil Pitolin

I am a linguist and an educator. The questions that interest me concern late bilinguals language interference and attrition: Can an adult who is not bilingual since childhood change their dominant language? What social factors affect this shift? How are different aspects of the two languages interfere?

I am an independent researcher based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Previously I was an associate professor at Ural Federal University. Before coming to UrFU in 2016, I held the position of an assistant professor at Ural State Pedagogical University. Before that I graduated the same university with a degree in TESOL in 2011 and received a Ph.D. in Linguistics in 2016.
